Winter really is a beautiful season. So often I tend to take it for granted because I'm really not a big fan of the cold...

Wisconsin has had some of the coldest winters around, and having to experience it year after year can get quite exhausting. You're just about ready to move to another state where winters either don't exist, or don't last nearly as long. It can get a bit tedious.

But then there are some days when I am just challenged to stop and enjoy the beauty of it all. If you really think about it, there are many things to enjoy about the chilly season.

I mean, how amazing are snowflakes??? Not even one is alike in shape or size!

These intricately designed ice crystals truly show the wonder of God's handiwork!

Beauty can be found in even the simplest of things...

And then there's the beauty of the effervescent glimmer of the snow when the sun's rays hit it.

And when the sun begins to set...

Winter truly is a lovely season. You just have to find reasons to enjoy it. :)

"Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow
Or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail?"
Job 38:22
